Cliff: I won the lotto!
me: did you really?
Cliff: yup a whole 2 bucks!
me: nice! 2 bucks of solstice winnings means you can spend two bucks on tickets for the Christmas lotto on friday!
Cliff: yes. and thats when I win the jack pot!
me: that's my one wish for christmas is to win the lotto
Cliff: somehow I don't think we are alone in that
me: yes, but I have been very good all year.
Cliff: really? that's so disappointing!
