Coincidences and a list

Strangely, before this year I've never come across other people with the same birthday as mine. There were a bunch of people born a day before, or a day after, but never on the same day. All of a sudden, this year I meet and make friends with two people who share my birthday. Granted, one's a freshman and the other's in fifth grade, but still. Two! ...Okay, I don't really know why I'm so excited by this. Maybe because today's my birthday. Or maybe not -- I was pretty excited when I found out, a couple of months ago.

But um.
I'M EIGHTEEN.
What do?

I figured I might as well put up a list of things I want to do before I die. Since I've been kinda moping around lately. I need to give myself some motivation. Or something. ;;;;;

• learn to shoot (a gun, with a bow and arrow, photos -- whatever)
• light a campfire (and keep it from going out)
• get my driver's license
• learn how to ballroom dance (of any/all sorts)
• cosplay (as opposed to just talking about it)
• run away from home
• finish reading any/all manga series that interest me (How pathetic is it that on more than one occasion when I've considered, in passing, suicide, this is what kept me from acting on it? Derp derp.)
• learn Japanese
• make an igloo
• learn how to use a sword
• ride a horse, properly, after taking lessons
• host a sleepover party in my house
• learn to play a brass instrument
• learn to play a reed instrument (single- and/or double-reed)
• learn to play percussion (including, but not limited to, the drum set)
• re-introduce color guard to my high school marching band
• eat a turducken
• finish writing a story
• get paid to do something I enjoy, every day
• get (and stay) skinny
• graduate
• learn any sort of hand-to-hand combat
• go on a date
• eat a meal in Japan
• take voice lessons
• milk a cow
• get in a physical fight
• find the strangest combination of foods that still taste good together
• get a phone that can text
• learn to work a tablet
• ride an old-fashioned train
• learn to play the guitar

...In no real order at all. :D
