A little background:
1. The girl works as alice nine's general assistant.
2. I know that there is no such thing as a Black Recluse Spider. Ths is what Wikipedia said about Brown Recluse Spiders:
"These spiders frequently build their webs in... places that are dry and generally undisturbed. The common source of human-recluse contact is during the cleaning of these spaces, when their isolated spaces suddenly are disturbed and the spider feels threatened."

Tora was in love with a girl.
He loved the way she smiled at him the morning, the way her eyes twinkled when she was laughing, and the way her necklaces delicately laid across her collarbones. He loved everything about her and always, he could find comfort in her existence.
There was just one big problem: she didn't know his feelings.
As soon as Tora thought about confessing his feelings, his heart started to beat rapidly. Romantic situations with women often left Tora confused and disgruntled because his weakness is girls and all of the experiences that come with them.
“If this is love, I shouldn't be acting this way.” he told himself every night, “If it's love, I should tell her how I feel.”
And, because he thought it was love, he finally mustered up the courage to tell her.
It was Friday and everyone had cleared out of the studio, heading home for the weekend. She and Tora were the only ones left in the studio. He rarely had a moment alone with her, due to their positions, and he felt that this was his opportune moment.
“See you Monday, Tora!” she said, completely unaware of the thoughts racing through Tora's head.
“I need to talk to you.” he said bluntly, setting down his guitar.
She stopped, turned, and smiled. “Sure! What about?”
Tora took a deep breath.
“I.... you... eh~” He turned his back to her after hardly starting the sentence.
She stood there looking at his back while wondering what could be making him so anxious. He suddenly turned, almost startling her, and walked up to her. He was a foot away from her face and his hands were grasping her shoulders.
“I. am. in. love. with. you.” he stated before backing up, arms at his sides.
She blinked. Once. Twice. With every blink, Tora's heart rate was rose higher and higher.
“I love you too... Tora.” she finally spoke.
Tora desperately wanted to be cool right now, but is mouth defied him.
“Wha- Really?!” he exclaimed.
“Yeah, Tora. I've always liked you! I just thought you did like me because you never showed any indication that you did.” she said while chuckling a bit.
“Sorry about that...” he said, looking down.
She smiled and shook her head, “It's fine. You know, you like to act to cold all the time, but you really do have a warm heart.”
“Maybe that's true...” Tora said quietly, unusually unsure of himself.
They just stood there in silence for a moment until Tora acted on impulse, reaching out for her hand and pulling her into an unexpected hug.
She was surprised and didn't know what to think of his unexpected action. She could feel his warmth transferring into her body...
“Tora, you're... cute sometimes.” she said, her chin resting upon his strong shoulder.
“I'm glad you think so.” Tora said, chuckling slightly. He felt relaxed again and pulled away from her.
“Maybe we could go and get drinks tomorrow... or something.” He suggested, casually.
“I would like that.” she said and smiled.
He smiled back. A rare, candid, open, and honest smile from a man who rarely let anyone see his true feelings.
“See you later, Tora.” She waved a little before opening the door.
“See ya~” he said, as her figure disappeared from sight.
Tora sighed contentedly and put his hands in his pockets. She definitely brought out the best in him.
Because, when two people love each other, they always bring out the best in each other.
I think Tora might have seemed out of character, but I can see him acting like that. The "Black Recluse" thing was a metaphore for the way he was behaving in this story. "Black" only because Tora's hair is always black. LOL~
