Introspective

Looking back a few years ago to today, I see a change in myself. A lot of us are now dividing time between pre and post Covid. Pre, I found it easy to put things off for later. It didn't happen often, but Post caused me to examine my life under a microscope and realize this was one thing I needed to change. Tomorrow's never certain, so if I have ( Read more... )

Funny thing, I realized just the other day how we're now in this part of our lives where we refer to things "Before Covid" and "During Covid". I think it's changed many of us, in many ways. You would hope it would make us all a little more patient, understanding, etc but not always. It's definitely made so many of us realize that nothing is guaranteed and you don't know how long you really have to do or try all of the things that you want. Good for you for stepping out of your comfort zone to do just that. ❤️❤️

Covid is an awful way to mark time! But because the pandemic has opened many eyes, that silver lining is there. It'd be nice if everyone had an awakening, but what are you gonna do! I feel better knowing I'm making the most out of life even if it's doing something as little as taking a walk instead of scrolling Insta.

It is an awful way, but if you think about it, it really was a major time in everyone's life. Think of life in teh 50's. I guarantee some people talked about before, during and after the war. This is no different. It had an impact on not only people but life in general, how we nnow do things, approach things, think about things. So to me it's a worldwide occurrence so that's why it's a valid way to think of time. Because of the similar impact on so may.

There's no arguing about it being valid. I agree to the fullest! Covid did impact everyone directly. That's as major as it gets! There's also the Pre/Post 9/11 timeline. Now I mostly hear that one used when someone's complaining about taking their shoes off at the airport.😒

It's a great feeling when you are working on improving something and you start to see the improvements. Congratulations!

Thank you dear! I feel more in control of my life. When part of me pushes off doing something and I force myself to do it right away, I feel so good.

Mindfulness of ourselves is such an important skill in life. Letting things go and putting yourself out there are such difficult things so good on you!

I can relate so much to what you said, and I've talked to others who feel the same way. I guess that's something positive to come out of the past 2 years!

Sometimes it takes something major to kick our butts into gear. It's nice to know there are others out there making a personal change!

I've noticed a shift for a lot of people in this same way, and I can't tell if it's covid related or just growing up, or maybe if it's a bit of both. Either way, I'm here for it and feel the same in myself.

I used to think there was an invisible line that we stop at at a certain age and we're considered grown. That's not the case! Let's never stop growing.☺️👏🏽
