Welsh pronunciation

So I am reading The Welsh Girl, a lovely book so far, and the author fails miserably at providing a pronunciation key in the book so those of us who wish can actually know how to say these beautiful words.  Anyway, the word in question right now is cynefin.  And this utterly unhelpful bit is all I have been able to google-up:

The Cynefin(pronounced /ˈkʌnɨvɪn/) - note I am lmao looking at those symbols vaguely resembling letters, that I have looked up what those symbols stand for in sounds and  the best I have been able to piece together is that it comes out as something like "kun-eh-vin".  Anyone?
