ALL news sources are biased
I read a lot of your posts ranting on about a certain right wing news source and how biased they are, with, of course, the implication that your news source of choice not at all biased . Humor me here. I am a Libra and like balance. And my birthday is coming up LOL.
I offer this experiment for you. Take one week; that should do it. Check the following pages at least twice per day - CNN, FoxNews, and MSNBC. Toss in your own online news source of choice as well but be sure to include these three. Note the headlines, where the emphasis is placed, what stories are reported on which news source. Feel free to Google a few of the stories on any of the pages to find other sources of the same story. Or, as I often do, to find that the "other side" is simply ignoring that it is a story.
Then come back here in a week and note what you find. My theory after doing this for ages? See the subject...ALL of them are biased. Heavily. The only way to get a complete picture of what is going on in the world and even in our own country is to at least look at the headlines of each. The written word is a powerful thing. Suppression of information is a scary thing. And yet, that is what I am seeing on a daily basis from each and every one of the news sources.
