I'd been invited to a couple of the yycphotowalks in the past on twitter, but the timing hadn't worked out.

This time, I was able to make it out and it was a great day for it too! Sunny and warm! Met some great folks, and we had ourselves a good 5 hour wander of the area around Kensington.

It's an unfortunate reality in any urban center that there are homeless. People end up homeless for a wide variety of reasons... loss of employment, underemployment, mental illness, family breakdown.
