Bleh, I feel so tired. All doctors and hospitals and appointments lately. So much stuff has happened lately and most of it doesn't really feel real. The big one I suppose is the gay marriage decision a few days ago, which still hasn't sunk in for me. Like I can remember how crushed I was about Prop 8 and here we are, it's all legal. It's legal everywhere in the US. It was so sudden, I guess some part of me is still waiting for the catch, or for someone to be like HAHA JUST KIDDING! or something. But it could also be my state of mind affecting my reaction. It seriously feels surreal to me. Everything sort of does in a way.
There was a lot of stuff I felt like I was going to talk about, but I can't remember most of it now. Uuuh... given how well EBB and EarthBound are selling, there's a chance that Mother 3 could be next. After all this time I dunno how high my hopes can get, but they're certainly higher than they used to be. Could it actually happen? :O I don't want to get too optimistic, but.
On a related note, I actually went through and broke up my old tags finally, so now there's a general tag for the Mother series, then individual tags for Mother 1, 2, and 3, for ease of browsing. I wasn't super thorough about really old entries, but everything that was under the old earthbound tag is still there under the general mother tag. Whether something got an individual game tag was decided on a weird set of criteria I can't remember now. It was late. Oh well, whatever.
I got a bit further in Mother 1, I should really put together a post for that already. I feel like I made a lot of progress in relatively few caps, weirdly enough. I've drawn quite a bit and also writing a little, though god knows if I'll actually finish the fic. The drawings are done though.
Sierra game neko atsume cats! This just suddenly came to me, no idea why. Valanice is wearing her KQ7 outfit since that's kind of the best one she's got to work with, but I gave Rosella her KQ4 one since that looked slightly less bizarre on a cat's body. Also, Rosella and Alexander are supposed to be twins (thus the matching markings) but why does Rosella have blond hair and Alexander have black hair, that's kind of weird. Eh. I could've given Rosella a blond patch but oh well.
The QFG hero doesn't normally have a cape outside of QFG1 but i always sort of picture him in my head with one. The little spider droid is the fancier looking one from SQ1vga. I didn't realize how dangerous it'd be hanging around, haha. Presumably this one is not explosive.
Tiny antwerps probably won't hurt you though.
This idea came up in a convo with Bardic, haha. JUAN'S HEART IS A MESS. There's a follow-up but it's not colored, you may see it later.
This next comic is an upcoming bit in Mother 1, it's not really a huge spoiler but you'll see it again in the appropriate post for it. I could explain more of the context but I think it'll be better when you just see the entry, haha. Those who played Mother 1 before though will appreciate it probably.

The day I found out about the marriage decision, it still feels surreal to me. The sort of idea was with their cured versions, that they've gone through so much together that should've killed them both, but they've survived and stayed together, and now nothing can take them apart. Something like that.
I actually drew this right after I did the previous comic about Larry and Phoenix getting married, but recent news sort of added a new element to it, haha. It seemed like an appropriate time to color it.
