Ended up being super boring today and organizing music pointlessly BUT in the process, I decided hey, I might as well upload the updated version of Refresh 1, haha. SINCE IT HAS CHANGED FROM THE FIRST TIME I POSTED IT
I also made a matching cover/back to go with Refresh 3, let's see.
1. Pendulum - Propane Nightmares
-I first heard this from this TF2 Mass Bot video that Jaz linked me to a million years ago, haha. IT'S STILL REALLY COOL especially near the end. I had vague ideas for a sort of epic Radic vs Red pokemon battle video to this but it never came about. :B
2. Renard - John Freeman
-LULL YOU INTO A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY WITH A NORMAL SONG AT FIRST, THEN BUST THIS ONE OUT
I think my favorite part of this is "thanks i could help bro bro bro bro"
3. Auto-tune the News - #2: pirates. drugs. gay marriage.
-I LOVE THESE THINGS AND THE VIDEOS though I haven't checked for new ones in a long time since they moved more towards Songifying general things. I love how the "very thin ice" part in this one ended up becoming a running theme later on, haha.
The theme of this CD is the tagline of the thing, EVERYTHING SOUNDS BETTER AUTOTUNED
4. Ali Dee and The Deekompressors - Go Speed Racer Go (Andrew's Mix 1)
-Yes, from the incoherent movie! Which I enjoyed, shut up. The version on the CD is actually sort of different though than the version I'm linked here on youtube, this mix of it takes out all the vocals except the chorus (Blue linked to this a million years ago if I recall, haha). I LOVE THE CHORUS SO MUCH I LOVE HOW IT BLENDS THE ENGLISH AND JAPANESE LYRICS AAAAAA
5. Auto-tune the News - #3: cuba. afghan friendship. 2-party woes.
-THERE IS A LOT OF NEWS, AND IT'S HAPPENING i can do worryingly large amounts of these from memory.
6. Helena Paparizou - Mambo [Dancing DJs Mix]
-Sheena sent me this! <3 Along with a lot of other versions of this same song, but I love this remix the most. :B I did a really stupid Matt/Juan comic sort of to the melody this, where did I put it... aha, here it is.

-UGH I LOVE THE MUSIC OF WIZARDS AND WARRIORS SO MUCH AND THIS REMIX IS SO GREAT THE GUTIAR IS SO AWESOME AAAAA

14. Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings - Libertas Imperio
-lol the only thing i can find with this song is a Kingdom Hearts AMV. WELL WHATEVER this song is ALSO INSANELY FUN TO SING ALONG TO REALLY LOUDLY IN THE CAR like man you don't even know much fun it is until you try it, haha. It's just perfectly right in my range.
i had vague plans for a starcon2 related vid to this with ZEX and DAX but it also never came to pass
15. yugami-P - Alice Human Sacrifice (Yamai, Tourai, Re:A, Utawa Sakura, Usa)
-I still really love this song to death, haha. Man I remember back when finding a good translation for this thing was like impossible, I have a lyrics file for it that has like five different interpretations of each line.
I was always tempted to do something ladyish with this but I could never decide who'd be Rin/Len, since for that part you either need twins or siblings, and none of the ladies really work for that. I think I had Charger or Smoker for Meiko in my head, Jockey for Kaito (for all the singing), and then I wasn't really sure for Miku I DUNNO IT WAS JUST A SORT OF VAGUE DESIRE, I DIDN'T REALLY WORK IT OUT VERY WELL
