This might be a weird question, but have you ever thought about doing a "yaoi can be kind of dumb" post for Teahouse? It's a webcomic instead of an anime, but it's full to the brim with dumb yaoi stuff and I'd love to see your take on it.

IT'S SO IDENTIFIABLE and i haven't been able to find any more recent stuff that are one-shots, they all seem to be long series which don't lend themselves well to this kind of thing.

Oh dang that name sounds familiar... isn't that the new big thing after Hanna whatever? I haven't actually looked into it, I may have to check it out. :O I don't think I've done a post like this for a webcomic before, haha.

Yeah, it's kind of captured the internet's collective attention since Hanna died a horrible death. And it is so, so bad on every level: rapey, abusive uke/seme dynamics, tiny pretty boys with eyes like saucers, female characters being treated like OMG SLUTWHORES, the works. I feel like the only decent thing that could come out of its existence would be an in-depth mocking at your hands. :)

I don't mean to be pushy, haha. I just think it's perfect material.

Funny, my friend Toast just passed that around the Spork Squad as possible snark fodder. I wasn't aware that many people knew about it, since it's...well, really horrible. And it doesn't even show peens, which is the usual one redeeming factor of horrible yaoi.

I only wish I could say it was the worst yaoi webcomic I've seen, but I think that distinction goes to this hot mess, and that's only because I refuse to subject myself to Starfighter. On the other hand, Teahouse is really only just getting started...
