Glad the SH maze was fun! I wish someone would do awesome things like that around here. I'd love to see a Bioshock Halloween maze, for example ( ... )

IT WOULD TIE INTO MGS4 REALLY WELL aaaaaaa i can't believe neither eva or ocelot saw him sob SOB

I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO MAKE OF THAT LINE

Oh man did you play Bioshock? I ask because there is an ARG for Bioshock 2 going on right now (the reason why I am copiously avoiding spoilers for BS2) called Something In The Sea that is actually really interesting, well-written and well-acted. The main character, Mark Meltzer, is a guy whose hobby was investigating certain paranormal phenomena associated with the kidnappings of young girls by the Big Sister (of course, he didn't know that). Then his daughter is kidnapped and the game begins in earnest, with Mark desperate to find Rapture and get his daughter back. BUT ANYWAY I was thinking about this the other day and realized that MARK AND HARRY MASON NEED TO TEAM UP and found the "I'm looking for my daughter" squad, they would be awesome.

JUST LYING AROUND EMITTING GAY WAVES

XD I think he is if not a shipper at least open to the possibility, given his "it was love at first sight" crack on the MGS3 DVD commentary

I KNOW sob sob

Go check it out! We are currently anticipating the dropping of a substantial dramabomb, likely impacting on Friday. If you do decide to follow along, you should come hang out with me on the 2K forums thread (beware; that thread is spoiler-free (including material released by GameTrailers) but the rest of the forum is not). I'm Bear Is Atlas.

NOW THAT I THINK MORE ABOUT IT, HARRY AND MARK ARE REMARKABLY ALIKE in the sense that they both fight zombies (well Mark hasn't yet but maybe eventually he will) and have crackly radios and no one believes them.

HE TOTALLY DOES, DOESN'T HE? I wonder if he ever just sits around and comes up with crack pairings and giggles to himself when he realizes that he could make them canon.

THIS PLACE IS BEING INVADED BY THE OTHERWORLD

I bet you that's how Kojima spends most of his time. IT'S MY SERIES I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT WITH IT BWAHAHAHA

WAIT I TOTALLY FORGOT TO INCLUDE IN MY COMMENT THE PART WHERE I REALLY REALLY LOVED BIOSHOCK AND WE SHOULD TOTALLY TALK ABOUT IT. Particularly the part where THAT ONE PART made me feel so upset and betrayed by the game that I actually refused to play it for 2 weeks while I dealt with an emotional crisis. I was not in particularly good shape at the time in general, I guess. But also how amazingly evocative and atmospheric all the levels were! All my friends really rushed through it and did not appreciate it, in my opinion.

It was such a pretty pretty game. :O I should really play through it again, come to think of it. I LIKED WATCHING THE BIG DADDYS WALK AROUND WITH THEIR LITTLE SISTERS
I FELT BAD KILLING THEM D:

THE PART WHERE IT'S AWESOME

It really was a gorgeous game! So many games today have wonderful graphics, but Bioshock had real art design. Everything was so atmospheric and worked so well together to evoke the idea of Rapture.

I DUNNO I FELT A LITTLE BAD KILLING THEM I GUESS BUT IT WAS OUTWEIGHED BY THE SHEER GLEE OF CONSTRUCTING EXTREMELY ELABORATE TRAPS or hunting them with a shotgun like men once did I dunno Bioshock brings out the hunter in me I guess. Half the time they'd die in the first part of my traps, too :( like one time I set a string of oxygen cylinders with prox mines on them with a plan to shoot a Big Daddy with the shotgun so it would come charging at me and trigger all the mines one by one THEN IT DIED ON THE FIRST ONE D: and when I saw Kyburz' office with the three turrets and those zillions of trap bolts I had this complicated strategy where I moved some of the bolts so I had a preplanned escape route and would shoot the Big Daddy so it would follow me into the office and then hit all the trap bolts AND THE ( ... )

BUT THAT'S THE WHOLE GAME

It was really such a pretty place. I loved looking around and reading all the info and posters and products and stuff, there was so much detail. :D It had a real spirit to it.

hahahahaha YOU GOT WAY MORE INTO THE TRAPS THAN I EVER DID i didn't plan anything as elaborate as that. |D I THINK I USUALLY JUST GRENADE LAUNCHERED MY WAY THROUGH IT if i remember right, i should really play it again sometime

hahahaha OH MAN NOW I WANT TO TRY THAT man too bad alix took the 360 with him, now i want to play through it again and i can't, waaa

I KNOW EVERYONE WAS ALL BONKERS and i totally didn't see the twist at the end coming, well not the twist, but the phrase i guess since i didn't pay it any attention. :O

OH MAN THE TELEVISIONS I REMEMBER THOSE i'm trying to remember what part tweaked me out the most, i think maybe those statues where you could hit them and... did they bleed or moan or something? :O i forget

I know! I spent much, much longer playing that game than any of my friends because they just blazed through it and I spent forever examining every single room and investigating every nook and cranny and finding every audio diary, etc. etc. The game designers clearly invested a lot of time into getting every detail right and really thinking about everything ( ... )

Haha that's true, I probably should have put more thought into killing the Big Daddies come to think of it. BUT IN THE END I DIDN'T REALLY WANT TO KILL THEM ANYWAY, I JUST WANTED TO WATCH THEM INTERACT WITH THEIR ENVIRONMENT AND EVERYTHING ( ... )

I KNOW RIGHT just follow them around and watch them. It was so much fun to watch everything interact with the environment. One of my favorites was the splicer couple dancing in Sander Cohen's apartments in Olympus Heights; I watched them for a couple of minutes...before I lobbed a frag grenade at them. But still ( ... )
