SO RIGHT
MAZE
Drove all over LA getting lost with and without ubivat, which isn't really a surprise at all because I have no sense of direction. As funkicarus will tell you. I GET LOST VERY EASILY AND ALSO CAN'T FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
although it probably wouldn't have even helped in this instance since googlemaps apparently loves giving misleading directions
ANYWAY met up with cideon and her friend at the place and it was sort of like Knott's Scary Farm, with people runnin around and popping out at you and such. THE DUDES SEEMED TO LIKE MY LUIGI HAT
probably because my Luigi hat is the best Luigi hat
ANYWAY THE MAZE WAS PRETTY COOL longer than a Knott's Scary Farm maze but still all too short. BUT THEY HAD A LOT OF NEAT STUFF IN IT like they had the newspaper corridor from SH2, and the door to Angela's room all newspapered over, and the corridor in SH2 where you're walking with Maria and PH jumps you, and the graveyard from Homecoming (it was too dark to read the labels on the graves, which was a shame), AND A REPLICA OF HENRY'S ROOM FROM SH4 AAAAAAAAA
Basically I was so delighted by every small thing I saw that I spent most of my time trying to identify which place came from where. |D They also had a few corridors that could have been the Water Tower from SH4, a templelike place that could have been SH3/the intro to the movie, the Great Knife through the elevator door like in the movie, lots of mist and such. NOT TOO MANY OVERT CALLBACKS TO SH1 BUT THAT'S KIND OF HARD TO DO, HONESTLY
They did have a hospital room for Alessa which had a Lisa skulking around in there. She popped out at me and I was all AH! and then "Lisaaaaa :<"
I HOPE I DIDN'T WEIRD THAT LADY OUT
They also had a room full of nurses standing still like in the movie, that was fun to walk through. And also a static-y room that could have been SH1 or the dude who's dead in front of the tv in SH2, either way. BASICALLY I WAS JUST TRYING TO IDENTIFY EVERYTHING IN THE MAZE IF YOU HAVEN'T GUESSED
MAN JLTHAINFAMOS AND FUNKICARUS I REALLY WISH YOU COULD HAVE BEEN THERE JL is there like ANY day you're free to go because I will totes go again
THEY ALSO HAD A LOT OF THE VAGINAFACE MONSTERS FROM HOMECOMING which seems fairly understandable considering, they're probably one of the easier monsters to dress someone up like. The vaginaface monsters and cultists.
Also used Prayer from SH2 for background music for the most part. :D WELL I HAD A GOOD TIME ANYWAY
There was also a second maze that was more interactive, where you had to actually do things like pull ropes or push pedals to proceed and they'd split you into groups and such, which was fun. A little goofy but still fun. THE COOLEST PART WAS THIS TOTALLY BLACK ROOM THAT HAD A LOT OF RED DOTS ALL OVER IT, AND THEY HAD PEOPLE DRESSED IN BLACK HIDING IN THERE AND THE RED DOTS MADE IT REALLY HARD TO JUDGE DEPTH AND DISTANCE, SO THEY'D SERIOUSLY JUST SEEM TO APPEAR RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU
IT WAS A REALLY COOL OPTICAL ILLUSION

Man I hope Shattered Memories doesn't suck. Heck I'd be okay if it was Origins quality, as long as it's not another huge suckfest like Homecoming. IF IT DOES SUCK I'LL JUST IGNORE IT, NO BIG DEAL i mean i already consider it an AU of SH1 much like the movie, so it doesn't really impact how much i like SH1 either way

once again your skills in this series is still at its best... but Ocelot is gay again. *sigh* and I was just enjoying the shadow moses skit with ocelot NOT wearing anything pink. I know I shouldn't judge your idea of "fantasy art" because I know guy art would be their kind of, well, "fantasy art". but to me, ocelot's image is dying, and no rations can heal this kind of damage. it hurts to talk about it.

although he is being pretty gay i have to admit

i've got costumes for mostly everyone else but i am drawing a big blank for wolf. right now she's just a generic witch. MAYBE YOU GUYS CAN HELP ME OUT
ALSO WOULD APPRECIATE SUGGESTIONS FOR VULCAN RAVEN who is just a mummy right now
and Psycho Mantis I guess but he doesn't really need one could be one of the guys from Wizards. THEY KILLED FRITZ!
