Hello there!

Apr 01, 2011 15:32

I see there are new people here? That’s awesome! In the interest of getting to know one another, could I ask you just a few questions? (Not-new people can also reply, of course!)

1. Do you know how to tap dance?
2. Did you initially read ‘tap dance’ as ‘lap dance?’
3. What’s the best pirate curse you know?

That said, I should probably mention, ( Read more... )

1. I do not know how to tapdance.
2. I didn't read it as lapdance, lol, and I don't know how to do that either.
3. KEEL-HAUL HIM!

First off, icon love!

And I am sad that no one has confessed to being an avid tap dancer, neither here nor over at DW. It would make for a merry little party! Lapdances might be a suitable replacement, but there don't seem to be any professionals around, either.

I am collecting some pirate speech, though! *g*

Finally! A tap dancer! Yes, it does count! Do you have those little clicking shoes and all that stuff? Do you? *bounces*

Youtube blocks the linked video, unfortunately, but I'll just make up my own Danny!dance, how's that? And ha, well, I don't think Danny would complain about Steve's version of a lap dance... No, sir.

So, okay, you'd ask people politely for their money instead of threatening them with certain death and shark encounters? Hum. Not sure that would work...

Absolutely nice to meet you! Welcome! *dimples*

2 daily cups of coffee would be even better, but the thing is, if we want to up the stakes a little bit, I would go with one good cup of coffee rather than two. Quality over quantity. Because good coffee, oh, it's heaven. I'm a snob - I'd rather have none than a bad one. And I'm with you on the cappuccino front; it's my preferred choice. After food, I'm all for espresso, though.

So I have now finished my essay and will be reading Set Fire to This Card House starting now. (Almost done with my sweater!) My e-mail is audreyrsutton@gmail.com, so you can send me the chapter you want me to beta, since you just said you're not really on lj, haha.

Ha, fantastic timing! I just finished my edit of Chapter 5, so it should land in your inbox soon.

And I am on LJ. Just... not very often? Usually just barely long enough to reply to comments...

Anyway, yay! Sending!

I'm still relatively new to your lj so I wanted to answer your questions:

1. Do you know how to tap dance? Yes, I do--I ltook dance lessons from age 8 to 13 and I still have my tap shoes.

2. Did you initially read ‘tap dance’ as ‘lap dance?’ No, I didn't but I wish I had because that would have been so much cooler :):)

3. What’s the best pirate curse you know? I don't know any pirate curses but I do know some colorful gangster/gun moll ones :)

Hi. This is me, being back from a two-day-impromptu business trip. Oops?

1. This is awesome news, truly awesome news. I think I want to gather a group of tap-dancers to entertain me whenever I feel like it. How do you feel about living in a cupboard under the stairs.

2. Shame, shame. Next time!

3. Bring 'em on!

1. I knew how to tap dance when I was six. Unfortunately, learning to tap dance is not like learning how to ride a bike.
2. Sadly, no.

SORRY FOR THE DELAY!!! I spontaneously went away for a few days.

1. I'm sure you could easily re-learn! What do you need - alcohol? Because, to quote Nirvana: I'm here now, entertain me.

2. No one did. I am quite disappointed.

3. Sulphurous? Oh, that's a nice one! Sulphurous is a pretty word.
