One of the reasons why the internet is awesome? Musics. Musics, okay? So much awesome musics! If you’re like me, you stumbled across mixtapes that brightened your day; you had people dump songs in your lap and maybe you forgot to thank them because by the time you listened, you didn’t remember where to direct those thanks; you wasted hours happily scourging one of the many, many comms dedicated to music. It made you discover songs that you didn’t even know existed. Without the internet, you never would have known.
In conclusion: internet + musics = twu wuv.
It is a combination that makes me embarrassingly excited on a regular basis, kind of like so (replace cake with musics):

In celebration of this beautiful union, I shall now dump six lovely songs on your doorstep and run really quickly in the hopes that someone will adopt them. Also, consider it a thank you to everyone who’s ever shared some music with me.
Mazzy Star - Into DustStill falling / Breathless and on again / Inside today / Beside me today
A quiet, mesmerizing song that is strangely haunting and could be interpreted in several ways.
Jamie Cullum - All At SeaLike a warm drink it seeps into my soul / Please just leave me right here on my own / Later on you could spend some time with me / If you want to, all at sea
A positive song about how once in a while, we all need to get away for a bit. Beautiful, beautiful piano work, and his slightly rough voice really fits the song, the lyrics. Also, for some reason, the contrabass in this piece gives me the shivers.
Stars Of Track And Field - Safety In NumbersSlip your shoes on, take a walk / You're floating up and down the block / Lights turn green for you / And though I might like the plot / I fought the fight and then I lost / The man I tried my hardest to be
Melodious pop rock, an interesting voice and great guitar riffs. What more could you possibly want?
Bedlight For Blue Eyes - Jumper (Third Eye Blind Cover)I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend / You could cut ties with all the lies that you've been living in / And if you do not want to see me again / I would understand, I would understand
I love covers that show a new side of a song, make me notice different aspects. This one certainly delivers.
Milow - Canada / Brown-Eyed Girl (live)I'm gonna move to Canada / Yeah, I've made up my mind / Leave everything behind / I'll catch a plane, fly away from this rain
Perfect get-away song. Also, really good for running both because of its rhythm and because of the lyrics.
Barcelona - Please Don’t GoAll those arrows you threw, you threw them away / You kept falling in love and then one day / When you fell, you fell towards me
This is such a simple, sweet song about being completely head over heels for someone.
