SPN_Reversebang reveal, some fic recs and other stuff...
So first off, I'm really excited to say that the piece I chose for this year's Reversebang was:
Gladiator by Dizzojay
I'm planning an SPN Gen piece for this one, with lots of Brother whump and H/C and I have to say I'm pretty excited about it! It's a nice change of pace having done so much NC-17 J2 recently! :D Plus, I've never worked with Dizzojay before and I'm really pleased to have this opportunity to do so!
Also...someone has asked to Podfic one of my stories. It's for an exchange so I figure I better not go into details in case I give something away that I shouldn't, but I've never been podficced before so that's a bit exciting!
And another thing...I've just discovered the Drive 'verse by roque_clasique. Someone in SPN storyfinders was looking for recs with major hurt Dean and 25 billion people rec'd the Drive 'verse. So I thought I'd check it out. How do I miss these things? These old classics that I somehow manage to sail right on by without noticing?
Anyway, it was awesome and I really loved it and if any hurt Dean fans have managed to someone miss this one, head on over to ff.net and read it (because it seems to be f-locked on LJ)
And finally, I just read Pomegranate by frozen_delight:
Summary: After the events of 11x05 “Thin Lizzie” Dean and Crowley go on a road trip together to find Amara.
The dialogue and banter between Dean and Crowley is just perfect. Absolutely magnificent character voices all around and so much Crowley firting and sexual tension! There is off-screen Dean/Crowley, but I can't tell you more about that with spoiling stuff. This story manages to be very funny and also quite dark and disturbing in parts, and frozen_delight even managed to sneak in some plot! Definitely worth a read. :D
