Since my trip to Denver last summer, and past trips to Tahoe, I've decided that I really could do without humidity. Everyone I saw in Denver seemed to be out exercising...biking, jogging, canoeing...and you know why? Because you can't sweat there. Even if you try, you'll fail. We hiked up the side of a steep ridge to look at some fossils, more exertion than I normally get at home, and I didn't sweat at all.

We get a lot of mileage out of, "Sure, it's ten below, but it's a DRY cold!"
