Mom is moving along. She's alive and well, and moving about; today she went to do a little bit of grocery shopping with a friend of hers. I believe she changes chemotherapy doses next treatment date. I hope all goes well then. I haven't been vary anxious over he well-being which has been helpful. I haven't had any luck getting a job, and Iv'e tried many places, and no callbacks. What is with businesses and thinking they can take their sweetass time? I need a job and I need to raise money for college. I have financial demands that need to be met, yet nobody is recognizing that I am a perfectly qualified candidate for employment, and am available for 60 hours a week.

I have started my application with Linn State Technical College. My admissions application is in the works, and so is my housing application. I should hear from the college in the next week or two. Ever since I got the paperwork going and toured campus, I have been excited to leave town for college. Since the technical courses start in fall, I will be doing gen-ed courses in the spring when I start. Linn State has a 249 acre campus, and 4 buildings. Most of the campus is used for the heavy equipment training, where students learn to operate Caterpillar and other construction and landscaping vehicles. I will be spending most of my time in the Information Technology Center, where my tech classes will be. The other buildings are the Activity Center and the shops for the automotive and heavy equipment classes. The Activity Center has 3 full size basketball courts, a fitness room with weight training and aerobic equipment, an archery range, wrestling mats, and a running track. It is essentially a "YMCA" for the students. Non-students can register to use it for $425 a year. I am excited and I look forward to going.
