Bleh. Have I whined about my shoulder recently? Because I'm getting really tired of not being able to put away the dishes. Well, it's not that I don't put them away, just that I end up regretting it. Grumble. And don't get me started on the challenges of bra-hooks.

So I was watching my friend's four year old, and he wanted to play with "that robot guy" on my bookshelf.  And then of course we had to look up pictures of that robot guy, and then find a sound clip, which naturally lead to having to pull out the DVDs and find a Dalek episode.  Which, really, much too violent for a four year old that actually hasn' ( Read more... )

Today is Captain Kirk's 80th birthday!

My dad was a major trekkie. He love the show; he said it was the only TV he would let himself watch back in medical school. Emerald City Comic Con was such a fun weekend! I'm so glad I decided to go; The panels were very entertaining; especially the Star Trek Guys. You can tell the Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spinner have been friends for 25 years; they play off each other brilliantly and and were clearly having a ball.
