TACOPIZAGNA
the taco pizza lasagna
1lb ground beef
1lb of cheese of your choice
14 tortillas
1can ragu pasta sauce
1packet taco seasoning
1 tomato (optional)
1 onion
3 mushrooms
start off by preheating your oven to 350. Brown your ground beef, add your taco
seasoning; set aside. dice your tomato, onion, and mushrooms. Mix these three in
a bowl and set aside. Grate the chese or slice thinly. get yourself a decent
sized pan and lay some foil down. Next, set down two tortillas and cover with
about 2-3 tablespoons of ragu sauce.Layer on cheese, taco beef, onion, mushroom,
tomatos and more cheese in that order. You can vary the amounts to your liking
but try to keep it all at an even level. Place another tortilla ontop and repeat
the layering. Depending on how much of your ingredients you put into each layer
will determine how high your stack goes. In the end you should have two even
height towers of taco-y goodness. Finally place the last of the tortillas ontop
and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, or until the edges
are brown and the cheese is all melted. let cool for a bit, then enjoy a slice.
An alternative would be to add a dollop of sour cream on top or whatever else
you would like inside. You can substitute the ragu for salsa, or pizza sauce.
What's really nice about this recipe is that it allows for a lot of variation,
you could have a very meaty tacopizagna, or you could have a veggie version.
servings: a lot.
