D: MMPR steals yet another friend...

...maybe its a good thing you don't interact much with the others on my f-list, LOL. You'd get sucked in before you know it!

But RL issues are looming so much larger than anything online these days and Jason has always been one of my favorites, so

Dude. MMPR stole me way back in the freaking '90s. I'm just now getting over my stage fright with it, is all. I was all over that from the get-go.

As for the RL things...I'll email you later. It's...yeah. I'll email you. I definitely need to talk about it, but I don't want to just as much, that's for sure.

MMPR fandom is rather different from the show, though...and it's stolen a good 75% of my other friends :P It makes me wish I actually liked the show and/or characters, because I feel like I'm missing out...

I'll keep an eye on my email, then. (You can always call, too, if you need to physically speak.)

The show is an acquired taste...and it helps if you acquired it at the age of twelve when it first came out and never really dropped it. And while I love reading fic for the show in many of its incarnations, I'm a little leery of the "interacting with other fans" part of fandom, so I'm a bit afraid to ask what your f-list is like.

Funny; I feel like I was juuuuuuuuuuuuust over the age of really getting into it, and I remember how much it all annoyed me the first time around. A couple of my best LJ-fandom-friends got back into MMPR in a big way at the beginning of the year, and it led to some ugly dramaz and yeah. (One of those friends is no longer a friend.) I'll probably never be able to think of it as anything but traumatizing. Which is sad, because apparently its an awesome fandom with very little backbiting and wank. *shrug*
