Post #2: Wedding run-up.
On Saturday, Melissa and I booked our honeymoon. A week after our wedding (thankfully, "march break" at George Brown falls on the last week of February), we'll be winging our way to Paris for a week. Due to the fact that it's the off-season, we got an astoundingly good deal on a flight and hotel deal.
I've spent most of this morning looking up markets and less touristy attractions. Sure, we'll probably spend a day to go to the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre and Champs Elysees, but we want to hit the lesser known things as well. We'll be there during the Chinese New Year celebrations, and we might hit up the Thermes de Cluny, the Parc Zoologique and Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie.
No doubt I'll also be "importing" large amounts of cheese, normandy butter and other food products upon our return.
Has anyone out there been to Paris and have any suggestions as to where we should go?
