Tulane has decided to get rid of my major (mechanical engineering). In fact, they pretty much decimated the entire engineering program; I think the only ones that are left are biomedical and chemical engineering. The only good news is that I'm allowed to graduate with my major, as the changes won't be applied until 2007. This does, however,

I'm pretty pissed about what Tulane has done also. I thought about you when I read that they're getting rid of Mechanical Engineering. I'm pissed that there's no more Newcomb. And that they're cutting 180 faculty members from the med. school (which I hoped to be attending in 2 years.)
