AWESOME Sketch!!!! I'm hoping you get in. I'm hoping I don't work the week of chalk the block cause I've never been able to check it out.

I totally agree with you about not making a cliche Mexican art with lowriders and such. Its a hard thing making something essentially mexican but not something we see all the time.

How did EPCON go for you? Other than taking pics with Power Rangers?

Thanks Des! If I do get in, you should stop by my spot. If I don't get it, then hopefully we can bump into each other at the event! You know, if you don't work and something unexpected doesn't pop up on my side. XD

Well, it's funny because I turned in a sketch with a Mexican tile motif, bright colors and everything, and it was approved. Well, not by the city (yet), but by the design team leader. It's not lowriders, but still so obviously Mex. I don't know if I did good or bad, haha!!

EPCON went really well. I want to make a small review and post photos but first I gotta finish this I-10 thing! D:

I totally love this. It took me a second before I saw it was composed of hands, but then that made it even better. I definitely want to go out to this event!

At least you noticed the hands on your own! I had to point to them and explain to my mom what they were. She has a good eye for detail for everything except my drawings. v__v You should try and come out! I hear it's pretty fun for adults and the kiddos. =)
