I'm going to London at the end of the month (can't wait!) so I bought a camera. To test it I will take pictures of the town where I live. I hope you will find that there are interesting places!
The Palais Longchamp was built during the 19th century. It's a "château d'eau" (water-castle) destined to bring water from the Durance River to Marseille. In the east wing, there is a art museum and in the west wing a natural history museum. There is also a park. There was also a zoo but it was closed in 1987 (I was very young but I remember it. Very small cages for the tiger and the monkeys, an old camel... It was a very depressing zoo.
The view isn't great but it's difficult to have an overview except when you aren't afraid to be crushed by a streetcar.
