It always feels so wrong. My radio turns on to wake me up - and discussion of death and atrocity is there, before I'm even awake properly.

Once, I passed it off as an elaborate prank.

I'll never do that again.

I watched death and destruction before breakfast and had to spend the day with Ei-Phyu going out of her mind with worry for her friends and family, while me and a few others were shooting deathglares at anyone who was making off-colour jokes around her. Maddy had a panic attack over her father and broke down crying in the middle of the hallway.

Man, that's awful. I hope your friends' family and friends are okay. I have my alarm set on buzzer for that reason, but I'm still glad I always wake up before it. *shudder* It was bad enough to see it over breakfast. That and the fact that my egg was rotten got the day off really badly. *sigh*

Oh, it was ages ago, and yes they were. It was just horribly painful at the time, because you never know anything for ages, and Maddy's not the most stable of people at the best of times.
