So all in all, we didn't get an apartment. We got pretty close though. The first apt we saw was a studio for $950 a month --a cute room with big windows but a shared bathroom with other tenants. We wanted it. Rational won and we saw another apt. It was Terrible! Next to a place called thunder lignerie. Ka-Boom! And we called the first guy back. He

I agree. One should always take the first good decent thing. I can't tell you how many times I've kicked myself for holding out.
Manhattan. I've no idea what it's like, though. But it's always in, like, movies and stuff! Bitchin'.
