This is decidedly awesome and I love it.

Now what needs to be done is the fan-readers ten commandments. Like: "Thou shalt not leave reviews with only the word "update" as an acceptable response to a fic," and "Thou shalt not read stories with things you don't like in it (yaoi, shonen-ai, etc) and then flame the author because you disagree with that particular subject manner."

"10 commandments in reading a fanfiction?"

interesting idea XXDDD

but seriously, if they hate the story why read it and bitch all over at the poor author who is just catering at the 'right' fans? geez.

It's funny how thinking logically makes things so clear and yet these people who go out of their way to be asses and flame people who write things that they don't approve of. It makes absolutely no sense in any logical way in any part of the universe.

Though, I'm still contemplating over the "excessive bleeding" commandment. I'm almost scared to ask how that comes into play.

well you still gotta give them credit since they bother to click the link and read over the story and type their hateful words of destructive criticism.

i was actually waiting for my story to be reviewed like that so i could thank the person properly and personally. and i gotta stop being sarcastic, yeah

uhhmm... lotsa ketchup? excessive blood to the point of unrealism is not gore, its just an overreaction and poor attempt to violence

Oh, maybe that's why I haven't ever come across the stories that made this commandment come into existence, I don't read things that are labeled "gore." (Not my type of thing, really.) It's rather amusing.

I wish I had the intelligence enough to write a parody fanfic that broke every single rule of these commandments, but did so while still being readable and humorous.

well, gore is 'my type of thing' and anything that is violent and bloody. i like action films and novels *shrugs* so i could be quite anal at that sometimes too.

oooh, that's a good idea. (but then again i've got loads of plot bunnies already and im such a slow writer so i'll just wish to the heavens that someone might take it.
