I've seen something interesting in the writer's forums at Gaia so i've thought of posting it here XD
Disclaimer: I did not authored the following. I've found this in a thread in gaia and i took interest of it. I've already asked their permission for me to post it in another place, so here I am. Involved persons are properly credited.
Attention!: Please do not take this too seriously. Especially to those sore losers out there. This is the concerted effort of several people from gaia that makes me think that there still might be hope to fandoms. The least that you could do is to stop being defensivebitching and read and try listening to some intelligent people.

I. Thou shalt not create Mary Sues. Punishment will be anything and everything we can think of. Rest assured, it will be extremely painful.
II. Thou shalt not meddle with a character's personality in order to make him more "romantic," "hot," "fluffy," or any other adjective. Vengeance shall come from the very irate character for the libel.
III. Thou shalt obey the laws of the canon. If group X does not exist, then don't create an X OC, or if there are Y amount of X, then don't create an extra one. Etc.
IV. Thou shalt not murder the English language with thy leet speak, and improper grammar or spelling. Thou shalt attain a beta reader even if thou art fluent in English.
V. Thou shalt make thy story presentable and not an eyesore. Thou shalt not use bright colored font, tiny font sizes, walls of text, weird alignments, or all the above.
VI. Thou shalt not delete thy fic off of Gaia because of conrit.
VII. Thou shalt not attain a bitchy attitude because of said concrit.
VIII. Thou shalt keep thy fic as realistic as possible. If thou hast a relationship in the fic, thou shalt take time to develop it. If thou character has a wound, then thou character shalt require time to heal. (Thou shalt not make said character bleed more blood than is possible in a human body -- add. by Lil Kai.) Basically, for every action, there is an equal or greater consequence.
IX. Thou shalt not be an attention whore. Thou shalt not hold thy fic hostage for more reviews, ignore concrit, or write atrocities purely for reviews.
X. Thou shalt not use the excuse of AU to try to get away with OOC and breaking the laws of the canon.
The Ten Commandments for Writing Shounen Ai/Yaoi
Written by:
Chibi_Envy_Chan I. Thou shalt understand the male persona. Thou shalt not make thy character a female with a p***s.
II. Thou shalt memorize the male anatomy. Thou shalt comprehend that normal human males cannot bear children naturally. Thou shalt understand that the male body must be altered if thou arth going to write m-preg fics, and even then, thou shalt accept the fact that not everyone likes m-preg fics.
III. Thou shalt keep current with the laws, rules, and norms regarding male homosexuality. Thou shalt not use the oppression of male homosexuality as a tool for angst. Thou shalt also consider the era in which thy couples art living in.
IV. Thou shalt not force thy couple into the husband-wife roles for thy character is a male, not a female with a p***s.
V. Thou shalt respect the het fans even if thou doth not like it.
VI. Thou shalt not alter either of the character's personality to hook up the couple. Thou shalt keep the two characters IC as much as possible.
VII. Thou shalt keep the relationship realistic, meaning thou shalt take time to develop their relationship especially if the characters start out as rivals or enemies. If thou art planning on breaking a canon couple, then thou shalt handle it very carefully.
VIII. Thou shalt not write Gary Stues so thou can write a canon/OC fic and get away with having a one dimensional character. The consequences shalt be swift.
IX. Thou shalt not use purple prose especially when describing thy characters or the act of sex. Thou shalt be mature enough to write words such as p***s without blushing or using censors.
X. Thou shalt read the ten commandments for fan fiction and abide by them.
