So 11:00 pm to about 1:30 am has become my default online time, thanks to a collaborative agreement between my mom and I over my punishment for my grades. I can stay out until 11:00 on school nights, and as late as I want on weekends, but I have to bring up my grades for this grading period. That's quite alright for me though, since I kind of have to anyway, if I hope to stand a chance of graduating high school. Heh, whoops.
The IMAX opens this weekend at Showplace East. Well, I guess it's officially open right about now actually, since it's Friday and all. I'm excited; it means a lot more doorman shifts and such, since I have quite a bit more seniority than I realized. Except for my Cleaning Supervisor shift this Saturday. While I'd generally be thrilled, we apparently don't have enough employees for me to have any cleaners under me. So I'm supervising no one, and I guess I'm supposed to clean everything by myself or something. Whatever.
Saturn made the talent show at Central High School. I don't remember if I've posted that before or not. I don't really care, cause it's awesome anyway. We'll be playing "The Dead Seas," basically alongside The Nowhere Kids, who are probably playing "This is Our Scene," which in my opinion is their best song. Woot. Speaking of bands, Qui Qui (the tentative band name of Logan, John, and I) have now written four lyricless songs, all of different genres, all within a total of only four rehearsals. That's right, Logan + John + Brian = 1 song/1 practice. At this rate, I'd give us another five rehearsals and we could play a show. Knock on wood.
Today I saw Boondock Saints with Cati, Bo, Mary, Drew, Dusty, BrnRtchi, and Pete. It was quite the party for quite the movie. I loved it. There's a large jizz stain in my pants because of it. Then Cati and I went back to her house to watch some of Monty Python and the Holy Grail with Steve, kind of. Then it was back to Bo's to get my car so I could make it home in time for my curfew, but wait! There was trouble! Much to our dismay, we found a flat tire mounted to the right front of the car. So we had to change tires in the rain with no light. Then we made it back, and I was a half hour late. Wow, it sounded more dramatic when I started.
Things coming up...Weihnachtenfest, Modest Mouse concert, the talent show, Bo's birthday, Thanksgiving, Cati's birthday (!!!!!), my English anthology is due, and of course Christmas. So much fun. Not enough time.
Oh, and I love Cati. Eee. She still wins the "most awesome person" award.
