Good Afternoon, LiveJournal.

It's autumn. I'm sick. I hate the transitions between seasons. You hear that seasonal transitions? I damn thee.

I have a pretty bad sore throat. As in, I can't eat, hardly drink, and I find it amazing that I can still breathe. It might be strep, but I kind of doubt it, since I've had worse than this. My tonsils are naturally swollen, yet my doctors have always denied my parents' requests to have them removed. At this point, I guess I'll just live with them.

So the show with The Nowhere Kids went great. Everyone seemed to really like the sound and whatnot, and there was a ton of energy. Cool. That really got John, Logan, and I excited about the band we're putting together. I ended up going the next weekend to see the full band back together again, and it sounded great, as I knew it would. I even took over for Andrew Neel for the cover of "500 Miles" that I had learned for the previous show.

Saturn's planning on hopefully performing in Central High School's talent show. It won't be much, but it's easy and works as a good introduction to live performance. Plus we'll only have to prepare one song, which will probably be "The Dead Seas." We're also working on a theme based song for a school project...or we might just finish up "Modus Operandi" instead. We still haven't actually held a practice in months...this is greatly due to a certain level of tension among us. Most of that was probably my fault, so I'm taking the blame. We discussed things, and I think we all came out on the better end of the table...or the pool...or the side of the fence...whatever that saying is.

Showplace won't stop pressuring me to cut my hair, so I guess I will. I still have no word on what length they want though. Damn...I want a chicken breast, and a steak, and macaroni, and ham, and mashed potatoes...I'm so hungry.

Cati's been looking after me while I've been dying. She says she doesn't mind the thought of getting sick. I think she's crazy. Crazy in that "not actually crazy at all, I really mean I love her" way.

Goodbye, LiveJournal.
