Pain and Loss

I have really screwed things up this time I think. And in doing so I believe I have lost one of my best friends. The one friend that knew me better than any of my other friends probably, the one I could go to and tell just about anything and everything to. It hurts like hell to know that you have probably lost such a great friend, and what makes it worse is knowing that it was your own fault. That your actions and behavior pushed them away. I think this could be more painful than if the loss had been due to something as tragic as death. At least then..there wasn't a lof of choice, it was an uncontrolable situation.
