Dinner tonight last night was quite an adventure! Met up with Addy, Edric, Alex  & Lawrence  to check out this little shop tucked in Fortune Centre in Bugis - Basil Alcove. Quite a chic name for a small unit like this. Non air-conditioned with about 30~35 seatings, it serves mediterranean food with Basil as their  trademark spice ingredient.  The ( Read more... )

Age knows no barriers and a sincere heart opens up great doors of friendship.
Especially so when you are far from home and your trust-bank is (sic) your friends.

I received a call this afternoon. It was from my former classmate, Shruti!
Apparently, she took part in Vasantham Star (The equivalent of Singapore Idol on Vasantham channel) and she has gotten in as one of the finalist!

It didn't once cross my mind but there I was this morning at 10:30am queuing for Doughnut Factory's..(what else), Doughnuts! I was number 10 in line and the store opened only at 12:30pm but the queue snaked beyond my sight by then.

Milk Choc, Dark Choc, Hazelnut, peanut butter, strawberry, butter..urgh, all those carbs. Kill me!
