After another night of no sleep and bruised all over his body from slaying vicious demons, Tama was overwhelmed. As soon as some light appeared, he began to notice that the scratches were actually quite deep this time and he winced in slight pain from the deep gash in his right arm. His black jacket was quite torn, while the white shirt underneath was stained with dried blood that came from the cuts on his torso. He definitely wasn’t in proper shape.
Placing the naginata back into its empty holder at the side of his baggy pants, Tama slowly trudged down the street towards the café shop thinking that probably a glass of cool chocolate milk would revive some of his strength. Suddenly, he bumped into a gothic girl and they both paused for a sec.
“S’cuse me,” Tama muttered softly under his breath, continuing to walk on. Deep inside him, something about this girl irritated him - she seemed to really have a powerful aura. Clearing his brain of these thoughts, he entered the café, the door bells jingling a bit as he shut the door behind him. It wasn’t strange that at this early time of day there weren’t many customers. They would soon be pouring in another hour or so when business hours arrived.
Tama bought himself a chocolate milk just as he liked, and sat down at a seat near the window. Sipping his milk quietly and enjoying the peacefulness of dawn, he let his mind and body relax. It was then, that out of the corner of his eyes…he noticed a reddish-brown haired girl sitting alone at the opposite end of the room. To him, there seemed to be some of sadness in her eyes. Bah Tama reprimanded himself why am I so interested in some random girl right now?
