Philly Mayor Proposes 2-cent-per-ounce Drink Tax

So a 2-liter bottle of soda would cost $1.35 more inside the city limits of Philadelphia.

Luckily, I live well outside the city, but I might have to drink water when I head out to Chink's or Tony Luke's for a cheesesteak!

With all these complaints here in America about unfair taxes, why has no one talked about what an unfair tax/surcharge a certain demographic across the pond has to deal with?!?!?
