Could be good, could just suck
New Looney Tunes: 3D shorts in theaters, New show on TV
Let's just say . . . I dunno. Luv the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies and it would be great to have some new shorts featuring them. The problem is Chuck Jones, Bob McKimson, Friz Freleng, Bob Clampett, et al. won't directing them. WB just hasn't had ANYONE to come around and pick up the mantle of those creative minds. They came close with Tiny Toons and Animaniacs, but other than that; Space Jam, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Loonatics Unleashed haven't really put any faith in any kind of reboot like this.
Granted the article does say:He added that art from “The Loonatics Unleashed” is framed and hanging in Warner’s animation offices as a reminder of what not to do.
So we can only hope that they've learned from their mistakes.
So long as I get some Foghorn Leghorn like this . . .
