A super fast forecast, while waiting for Best Music of 2009 (I'm a little sad because of my huge tv show review was snubbed by almost all f-list, but I almost killed a certain guy to have his album top 50 to copy to take inspiration from, so I'm working on that list too).
As every year, I've to guess 50% of winners without seeing a single movie of the whole nominated ones from multiple categories. Probabily in the last part of spring I'll finish to see (almost) all interesting movies of 2009.
Yeah, *really* interesting movies like New York Sineddoche needs a miracle to arrive. Or a torrent to be seen.
TV SHOWS
Best Television Series - Drama
Big Love (HBO)
Dexter (Showtime)
House (Fox)
Mad Men (AMC)
True Blood (HBO)
Ehm...Mad Men is surely the best, but can it win again? Maybe it's not simple. Maybe it's the big moment for Big Love. But, honestly, Mad Men is Mad Men. Second choice? House.
Best Television Series - Comedy/Musical
30 Rock (NBC)
Entourage (HBO)
Glee (FOX)
Modern Family (ABC)
The Office (NBC)
Glee 100%. But 30Rock is way better. Tina deserves a globe every year, simple because she breathes.
Best Actor in a Television Series - Drama
Simon Baker, The Mentalist
Michael C. Hall, Dexter
Jon Hamm, Mad Men
Hugh Laurie, House
Bill Paxton, Big Love
Hugh Laurie and John Hamm are the best. Yeah, I know, it's kinda obvious but the others, ri-ehm. But I vote for Michael C.Hall. He has cancer, it's a good reason, for jury, to vote for him.
Best Actress in a Television Series - Drama
Glenn Close, Damages
January Jones, Mad Men
Julianna Margulies, The Good Wife
Anna Paquin, True Blood
Kyra Sedgwick, The Closer
Gorgeous stuff here. Glenn and Anna have already their globe(s in case of Gleen), I want to believe 2010 will be Kyra Sedwick's turn. Well, not "The Closer" best season ever, but you know, Globes and Oscars are kind of retroactive.
Best Actor in a Television Series - Comedy/Musical
Alec Baldwin, 30 Rock
Steve Carell, The Office
David Duchovny, Californication
Thomas Jane, Hung
Matthew Morrison, Glee
Alec! *O* No, I suppose Steve will get the Globe. Matthew is pretty good too, but Lynch will win for sure and Glee is not so pretty to win in all the categories.
Best Actress in a Television Series - Comedy/Musical
Toni Collette, United States of Tara
Courteney Cox, Cougar Town
Edie Falco, Nurse Jackie
Tina Fey, 30 Rock
Lea Michele, Glee
Lea Michele, no jokes. Well, Tina is still my godness, as all of you know well.
Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television
Michael Emerson, Lost
Neil Patrick Harris, How I Met Your Mother
William Hurt, Damages
John Lithgow, Dexter
Jeremy Piven, Entourage
William Hurt is waiting from years. Every other cast member of Damages (except for Ellen) won this damn golden thing. Maybe good rates will help HIMYM star? Mhhh.
Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television
Jane Adams, Hung
Rose Byrne, Damages
Jane Lynch, Glee
Janet McTeer, Into the Storm
Chloe Sevigny, Big Love
Rose, you'll wait another year. This is propriety of Jane Lynch.
Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television
Georgia O’Keefe (Lifetime)
Grey Gardens (HBO)
Into the Storm (HBO)
Little Dorrit (PBS)
Taking Chance (HBO)
Fight in HBO house, I vote for Grey Gardens.
Best Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television
Kevin Bacon, Taking Chance
Kenneth Branagh, Wallander: One Step Behind
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Endgame
Brendan Gleeson, Into the Storm
Jeremy Irons, Georgia O’Keefe

Best Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television
Joan Allen, Georgia O’Keefe
Drew Barrymore, Grey Gardens
Jessica Lange, Grey Gardens
Anna Paquin, The Courageous Heart of Irena
Sendler
Mhh, glamorous coefficient and "an icon from the real hollywood"---> Jessica Lange

Wait until tomorrow for results and comments!
