Using the mirror
Who: Toguro Brothers, Shishiwakamaru
Where: Toguro's apartment
When: Sunday evening
Summary: Ani uses Shishiwakamaru to use the mirror but is disappointed with the results.
Finally! The fullmoon night had arrived. According to the legend, the mirror would show its full power under the moonlight. This was for their supposed quest... yet it was truly for Ani's sole amusement. The doorknob turned and the lock clicked open. "Its time!" Ani announced with an eerie snicker.
Oto stood just behind Ani, but he simply stood there silently, looking at the bird demon through his shades.
Shishiwakamaru stood, violet eyes narrowed. Ani Toguro...of course. "I demand you release me at once!" the samurai snapped with irritation, practically hissing with annoyance.
"Oh yes, you'll be released. But after the experiment of course." The shapeshifter promised, but it didn't matter since he never kept his word. Besides, if Shishi survived he would use it as a toy. That imp form he had looked so filled with funny juices. From behind the imp youkai came Ani's fingers wrapping around Shishi's neck. "Wanna try your luck?" His body had stretched through the ground and walls discretely.
Shishiwakamaru's violet eyes narrowed more and he struggled, still not ready to give up. He did not expect to survive but at least he would die honorably. "You are digusting..." the samurai managed to get out in a low growl.
"This is just a leash, the experiment will take place in another room," Ani gestured with his hand. "Ladies first" However, his limb coaxed the samurai to walk toward the door, since his feet barely touched the floor.
Oto moved out of the doorway, standing aside so that they could walk by.
Shishi snarled but walked ahead of Ani, refusing to show the fact that he was a little uneasy about the experiment Ani mentioned. It couldn't be worse than having to deal with that doll...
He escourted the taller demon to a different room, yet extremely similar to the previous one. It had a small mirror through which a halo of moonlight was cast diagonally, illuminating a column. He tied Shishi to the column with his fingers, straining his torso to the extent it was very difficult to breathe. "What do you think little brother?"
Oto adjusted his shades. "Let's just get this over and see how that thing works," was all he said in that flat tone of his.
Shishi tried not to wince, glaring at Ani before looking at the mirror. There was something strange about it....
"Now comes the difficult part. How we make it work? Will it even kill me?" the shapeshifter snickered. One of his hands toyed with the mirror, its brilliant surface reflecting the moon. "If this was your last moment, which would be your last wish?" he grinned. "Hahhehhaha wishing I died would be too overused. Like those fools from the Gorenja team."
"There are worse things than death I could and would wish upon you!" Shishi growled. So Ani planned to kill him, the samurai was prepared for this, death did not scare him. But something did...but the samurai glanced at the mirror, thinking that this was all the kitsune's fault..it was Kurama who dragged him to the Ningenkai and on this mission...he wished that Kurama would be reincarnated as a disgusting bug and live a short and painful life...
"I'm flattered" Ani snickered. But the obnoxious grin faded from his features and was replaced by one of surprise. "The hell?" The mirror in his hand irradiated a sinister glow, pulsing with a strange power. The energy engulfed Shishiwakamaru's bodydepraving him from his senses until anything he could hear and see was a white infinity and smothering silence.
Oto frowned as he watched the mirror. Well, this was unexpected....
Shishi's violet eyes went wide at the light from the mirror and then the world went white. Was he dead?....Shishi wasn't sure but he felt oddly calm...
The light soon died in the same mysterious way it had started. Though a crimson youki surrounded the body for a few seconds before vanishing. "Well, was that all?" Ani rose an eyebrow looking at the mirror and then at Otouto.
"The mirror must have killed him," Oto remarked after a moment. He wasn't surprised, this is what happened to Ani's toys all the time.
The shapeshifter approached to Shishi's body and grinned back at Otouto, then sighing a bit disappointed."Yep, it's dead. Its heart no longer beats. Bah, this mirror isnt as funny as I thought it'd be."Aniki almost pouted and went to the room's door. "I wished it had turned into that littel form of his.I wouldhave eaten him crisp. I'm sure he would have done funny popping noises when I fried him"
Oto's shades glinted. "I will dump the body, I am sure you will find another source of amusement," he stated in a flat tone.
"Karasu is always fun! Did you know that imp saw what he has under his pants?" Ani snickered maliciously. "He took the secret to the grave"
"That is information I did not desire to know," the younger Toguro mentally winced at the thought. He was not interested in what was under the crow demon's robe.
"Oh boy... you're so boring little brother. Alwas focusing in Genkai which doesnt allow you to entertain yourself" Ani shrugged and shoved his hands in his blue coat.
"We have different viewpoints on entertainment," Oto remarked, picking up the imp demon's body. Like all of Ani's other toys, it would be dumped in a deserted area of the city.
The demon's snicker shattered into a loud cackle. "One of these days you'll kill me." He said making his way toward the door.
Oto made no remark to that, merely walking towards the door. He didn't have to power up to carry the samurai, who was a light weight over his shoulder.
"I'll see what to do with the mirror. Maybe dump it in the nurse's office and see if she accidentally kills herself." He walked away snickering and musing to himself. Miss Edith had not been present in the moment of the execution, she had to watch her favourite soap opera.
"I will dump it well all your other toys have been dumped," Oto stated as he opened the door. This one had been a weakling, not lasting very long...
