Who: Toguro brothers, Karasu
Where: Toguro’s apartments
When: Sunday night
Summary: The Toguro brothers summon Karasu
Ani had picked a place at the corner of the room, giving his back to the door and whoever tried to talk to him. He was too entertained with his small lump of clay and broken glasses. Next to him sat miss Edith. He glanced at
the doll grinning and asked "I can't believe you saved that little imp the other night..." And of course, he awaited for a reply.
Otouto frowned, glancing around at the mess of Ani's dolls and other...things. "You really expect a reply from that doll?" he asked, adjusting his shades that he wore even inside. "Karasu is coming to sort out this...mess."
Ah...and true to form the darkling Crow approached so quietly. He knocked so politely at that door, wearing a medical mask for the moment, the more precious makai metal one in his pocket, presently being caressed while
he watched the door boredly, waiting.
"Oh sush!" Ani retorted. "She's more communicative than what you are" Squishing the clay with his bare hands, molding it into misshapen statuettes to then mix them with glass shards. "And someone knocked on the door."
Otouto frowned, deciding not to remark it as he silently went to the door to open it. A slight grin at seeing the crow, and he stepped aside to let the other into the apartment.
Eyes narrowed above that mask he used to get thorugh day to day life in the Ningenkai when his metal mask would attract too much attention. Striding in he peered at them both quietly tossing his head once, the fall of ebon hair sliding back over his shoulder.
Ani's head turned to face Karasu even if his body had not shifted. "He came without delay! Seems you're teaching him discipline little brother" the shapeshifter grinned. Shatter someone's pride was fun.
"He learns fast," he said simply before turning to Karasu. "You will be cleaning up Ani's...dolls and other things," Otouto stated to the crow, a slight grin still upon his face. He certainly didn't want to know what his brother kept around.
He said nothing, letting his eyes slant to the elder brother for a mere moment before turning them back onto Otouto. Questions, questions about how best to proceed before simply turning about. He had no time for this. He wasn't an errand boy or a maid. He was a fighter.
"Ooh brother, he's being difficult!" The shapeshifter stood up and fixed his twisted neck. "Or maybe he just wants incentives? I have numerous ideas ... but yes. Our apartment is a little dirty..."
The door was closed and the younger Toguro stood before it, his arms crossed. The shades glinted. He said nothing but the message was clear.
Karasu...was willing to throw one hell of a tantrum. And he was rather famous to the Toguro for those. Even if he couldn't defeat them, he could blow that apartment to hell and back to get out of being their maid.
"The air of this room is getting tense... and what you'll do little caged bird?" The shapeshifter said smiling and approaching, that particular grin a sane man could never convey.
Otouto knew Ani would deal with Karasu easily enough so he remained in front of the door, watching impassively.
"I'm not a maid." he murmured simply, letting his eyes roam over the other too in an apathetic fashion.
"But you're our servant and follower, aren't you?... besides in the past days you have been acting as if you had 'forgotten' who the bosses are.." His body stretched upward being at the demon's height.
"It seems it is time to remind you of that fact," the younger Toguro remarked in a flat tone. not moving from where he stood.
His eyes slid to Otouto reproachfully. He expected this sort of behavior from Aniki...but he was disappointed in Otouto for going along with this scheme.
"Did the dust bunnies eat your tongue? Oh oh! let me guess. We're too low for you to talk to us, right? If you can't talk then how about screaming? " He delighted with the last word.
He looked right back at Karasu silently. He would not stop his elder brother....after all he didn't want to be the one to clean up those dolls.
A turn of his head, letting the cracking sound fill the air. He would throw a tantrum if need be.
"Tsk tsk Karasu-kun... Are you truly planning to blow something? " Ani asked already knowing the reply. "You could wake up the neighbors heheh ... bad manners"
His claw rose and the long nails extended like a pitchfork. "Do you truly want to play?"
He said nothing, the shades glinting once more as he watched.
"Not with either of you, I'm afraid...." he murmured quietly, stepping to the side and out to the immediate way of those claws,
"Hehehe how selfish... but I had a different idea. We'll need a new apartment since this one is filled with dirt and while moving one of my friends would like to stay away from the mess, besides ... she needs tending"
Ani's hand stretched to the corner of the room to retrieve the small Victorian doll. "This is miss Edith, take care of her" he handed the doll to Karasu giving him a grin that wouldn't
accept a 'No' without bloodshed.
He couldn't understand his brother's attachment to that doll but he stepped away from the door without a word.
He accepted the doll, tucking it safely under his arm. A shrug of his shoulders once to convey he understood, even if he didn't care overly much. But a doll...he could handle.
"Don't annoy her" the shapeshifter scolded. "I'll know if you do and will make you pay for it," he smiled. One hand reached upward for the demon's fake mask and with the tip of his razor-sharp nail he sliced it.
Otouto made no comment, despite the fact that the doll never really...answered Ani still seemed so attached to it.
"Of course." he replied so politely as that mask broke, falling to the ground in two tattered pieces.
The shapeshifter snickered and took some steps back then hopping into his brother's arm. "Now Otouto wanted to say something too"
" You will kidnap one of Urameshi's less important allies," he said simply. He did not like such schemes. he preferred an honest fight. But he would let Ani could chose the target.
"Hrmm..." he waved a hand and merely nodded. "I can accomplish that...." he purred. But his voice had lost interest and he was glancing to the door, ready to leave eager to plan.
"Shishi! Bring that perky little bird before us. Oh yes, also find where the treasure Urashima and Rando stole is. They killed the little man and the mirror was lost go and find it, then go after Shishi." Giving orders was fun!
"You have your orders, Karasu," Otouto said simply, those shades glinting. He assumed there would be no question that the other would obey.
"Mmm...." he offered before moving to the door, glancing upwards at Otouto and waiting. "I can kidnap your imp for you...." he murmured after a moment, keeping the doll clutched under his arm.
"And take miss Edith with you, she needs to witness and report what she sees!" The shorter demon made clear as if it was very important. "Don't forget the mirror, Karasu-kun"
The younger Toguro opened the door, signaling that the crow could leave, silent.
With a nod of his head he strolled out of the apartment as a leisurely gait, pausing only to remove another mask and slip it over his face before continuing away.
"Hmmheheh Brother do you think he's reliable?" Ani asked looking in the direction Karasu had taken.
"He better be," was all the younger Toguro said evenly.
