Sun is shining, the weather is sweet
Yesterday was most excellent.
I woke up once again to the sound of sledgehammers in the basement, but somehow, I didn't mind. It was a lazy morning (well, early afternoon) but I enjoyed it. Eventually, I got up, went out, and got my hair cut. Oh gods, does it ever look so much better, and my head feels lighter. This makes me happy. ♥
I've started reading Life of Pi, and thus far it's pretty good. I'm only about 20 pages in, though. Thus far it is not what I expected (I'm not sure what I expected) but I am enjoying myself with it nonetheless. We'll see how it progresses.
Anyway. Yesterday was... yesterday was excellent. I didn't do much, but it was excellent. I wrote up a long post for my side of a conversation. I went and enjoyed the last day of the festival. I spent the majority of my evening at the Roastery. I roleplayed a bit - and gods damn, you know, I haven't had so much fun playing as Nor in weeks. I've been itching to sink my teeth into a good, long thread. Man, I hope this new Den is going to stick around.
I'm not sure what today will consist of - aside from cleaning, of course, and various little things that won't take much time. ....alksdjf Sab is going to be here in just like, two days, OH MY GOD. (Insert flailing here) I still have a ton of things to get ready before she gets here.
Aaaand my mum just phoned and talked my ear off for about half an hour. Lovely. Argh, how she can expect me to have something to say when I've only been awake a short while, I really do not know....
