I did so little today, it's kind of embarrassing. I always kind of feel like a loser when I don't manage to get a lot done, neither in terms of chores and such, nor in terms of personal things either.
On the upside, I had some nice conversations with some friends, and that's always a good time. And when I had to go out to take some stuff to the library dropbox, I decided to take a detour on the return, and went on a nice long walk. It was kind of a grey and dreary day, but it wasn't really too cold, and it was snowing just a little bit. Lovely, really.
When I really think about it, it's probably a good thing that I took it easy today. I've been feeling a little sore this past week - I haven't been kind to my feet - so it's good that I got some rest.
One nice thing that I realized: writing-wise, even if I haven't done as much as I wanted to do so far this month, I'm still a little bit ahead. That's a great thing. I feel really good about it.
Need to pick things up tomorrow, though. So much to do! Argh, cleaning, so much cleaning... I'm not sure when we'll put the tree up, probably not before the end of next week at the least, but the house has to be spotless before that. Hopefully I'll be able to go out for a little while, though, to get some more ficcing done. That would be nice - if the weather isn't too awful.
