Mnh.
Not sure whether to backdate this thing or what. WELL we will see....

I'm in one of those moods where like - I'm not bored, but I feel as if I'm boring. Like, I'm enjoying myself, but talking to people is more difficult than usual for some reason.

Well, hopefully this won't last for very long, because it's a really annoying feeling.

I managed to get SO much writing done. But... I'm kind of looking forward to Chocolate Box being over, because at the moment I'm kind of drowning in WIPs, haha. Oh, well, only a couple more weeks. And then I can use February as an "edit and finish stuff" month, I guess. There are plenty of things that I can use to post to fulfill my "post a thing that isn't for an exchange" challenge with
dhampyresa, so that works out fine.

Started another Chocobox Treat, speaking of which. But I'm... not happy with it. Argh. The draft is complete, it's typed up, and I'm not happy with it. Insert giant frowny face here. It's going to need a lot of pruning. Or expanding. Or... oh, hell. Maybe I'll just sit on it for a while and re-read the recipient's letter and see what happens when I look at it with fresher eyes.

...Do you ever just see something and think to yourself "Could you not." #vagueblogging

Anyway. Shaeiira opened up commission slots. *_* I'm so glad that I was able to grab one. I was feeling kind of down as far as that stuff goes, because I'd had some bad luck with things not working out commission-wise recently with more than one artist (unreasonable turnaround time/lack of contact, thankfully I hadn't paid anything). But so far, so good. She's already finished the sketch and AHHH I can hardly wait to see the final....

Finished Stephen King's The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger. It was so good. Sooo good. Well - okay, toward the end, I got a little bit bored. But almost all of it was awesome. So, I'll read the next one, I think. Eventually. Not right away.

Poked around the library after that, didn't want to pick up too many things because I have some unread books sitting at home that I should get to. But I did come across a display of poetry, and I picked up a volume of love poetry by Pablo Neruda. I'm not familiar with his work, but hey, why not give it a try... I've been more open to poking around poetry lately, since I've been trying to get back into the habit of writing it myself.

Mnhhh... I should try to get in bed at a reasonable hour, shouldn't I.
