I came home in an absolutely foul mood because I was overtired and overstimulated and needed a nap ASAP. But then I went to the mail and found a card from Quinn and a little package from Qichi with some sweet little trinkets and I felt a bit better. ;;

Also, I discovered that a thing I wrote for Yuletide has been recced by someone that a lot of people I've bumped into online think is a pretty cool person, so that was awesome too.

But UGHHH I NEED A NAP okay, PSA, Yuu is secretly 5 years old. Apparently.

... The reason I'm so overtired is because my brain thought it would be a GREAT idea to jolt me awake at some ridiculous hour because I got an idea for a poem. And then I decided to actually write it down because if I didn't, I'd forget everything. I was happy with the result when I read it in the morning, but mannnnn... Time to look at my life and my choices.

A nice thing: MadameFolie wrote some Onni/Reynir - Like Flowerheads - and it's perfect and gorgeous and I just kind of want to wrap myself up in it and roll around in it. Metaphorically. I need to figure out how to write both of these guys so that I can write this pairing too.

Another nice thing: Solo and I wrote a collaborative fic together; just some snips of Emil/Lalli, which can be read over here: Crossed Wires. ...I'm glad that I remembered the co-author feature exists, because man, we were really puzzling over how to upload this. (Also, I'm still figuring out how to upload chapters. There was a split second where I thought I'd posted the thing with only half of it in there. But then I didn't. Crisis averted. Oy...)

This entry is all over the place. And I still need a nap. Or rather, to go to bed early. But first, a run is in order. Yes. And then I will sleep for a week (or at least for a night. Properly. With no interruptions.)

... What the hell, how is it the 31st tomorrow, where did the year go?!
