Just a quick one before I give up on everything for the night... It's been a long week and my eyes are sick of staring at screens. Books it is, then. Or writing fic by hand, maybe.
☆ It was bloody cold this afternoon. I think it's going to snow tomorrow. I don't want it. Any of you people who like it, you can have it, I'll figure out a way to send it to you. Eurgh.
☆ Writing is... going. I don't know what I'm doing with this thing I'm working on, but I guess I'll have to see. "Story told within another story" is a kind of form that I've never experimented with before, but the plot requires it. So far it's turning out okay, though. At least, I'm having a lot of fun writing Joona's casual storytelling style, so that's a start....
☆ Note to self: Start working on that Yuletide letter. If you don't do it now, you'll forget about it. I've had some vague ideas of what to request for a while, so that won't be too hard, but getting it all smoothed out is something I should get to soon. Even if it's a little early for that.
☆ Check out this cool drawing of physicist Chien-Shiung Wu. ... I was going to give more description but I think the author puts it best: "“First Lady of physics” slicing through a giant atom with a sword". Dude. AWESOME.
☆ I stumbled across Hanna Ruskanen's music while poking around youtube... It's soft, with a folksy sound, really nice. I really love the two songs I've heard so far (Pakkasenpuremat and Kemijoki) so I think I might need to investigate further.
