Wow, am I ever exhausted. Today was just - one of those days, you know, where nothing in particular goes really wrong, but a ton of small and medium-sized annoyances build up until finally, you're just 100% done.
I probably could go in detail about it, but since I don't think it would make me feel any better, I won't.
Since I've been feeling a little bit rundown, I'm going to give myself carte blanche to not socialize if I'm not feeling up to it. Sometimes, I press myself to do it even when I don't have much energy, and while I do enjoy talking people, sometimes that last bit of energy can be better put toward other things. So. I'll allow myself to ignore people. But just for a while - just for a little while. Maybe a week at most. I need to pull myself together.
Anyway, today wasn't all bad, so I'll talk about some good things:
-I went for a run tonight, and I feel really good. Like, really really good. ... And gross and sweaty, haha, but a cool shower will take care of that. It's just, today was - well, see above. So, I feel like I should mention that I feel a lot better now. I feel great!
-Watched some more Rome. I finished the 5th episode tonight. I find it's best to watch each episode all in one go, otherwise I forget what's going on, but sometimes I just don't have time for that. But, I did tonight. I'm starting to get really invested in it. ...Pullo is still my favourite character. He makes such bad decisions sometimes, but he has a good heart, for the most part. And his friendship with whatshisface - Vorenus - is really great, I'm becoming more attached to them as a duo as time goes on. And Niobe... man, I like Niobe. I like her a lot. Though as far as women go, Atia is more interesting, because she's such a schemer, wow.
-Someone posted in the Redtail's Dream tag! And it wasn't me! HURRAY! Some crossover art - ARTD characters dressed as if they're from SSSS I will get around to reading SSSS eventually... but in the meantime. ARTD! [/flail!] Oh lawd, I love how they drew Paju, she's just so - so Paju fffff. Anyway, this made me very happy.
-I kind of want to go see Mad Max again this weekend. I know I said that I probably wouldn't watch it a second time... I lied. I want to see it again. In cinema. Which is ???! I never do that! But, we'll have to see. I don't think that I'll have time this weekend, because I need to do some running around on errands and such, but we'll see. Oh, and speaking of Mad Max, someone on ffa linked this post about just how lucky we are that the film came out the way it did. It's surprising that the director had so much control over it! Interesting.
... So. It's not all bad. :)
