Holy crap, this year's Eurovision voting was intense. I was worried Russia might win. They were neck-and-neck with Sweden for a while - it was like the Great Northern Wars all over again. Fortunately, Sweden came out on top.
Måns Zelmerlöw's "Heroes" isn't my favourite song from this year's Eurovision, but I do like it a lot, so I'm happy with it. I didn't expect my top loves to win anyway, though I did think that Italy had a good chance.
Anyway, this means Eurovision will be in Sweden next year!
Which brings the question: Which city will host it?
If it's in Stockholm, there's a chance that I might be able to go. I was talking with Seaster, the friend I visited a few years ago. They said that if it's in Stockholm, there's a very good chance they'll go, and they said they'd be happy if I come along too. I'd love to meet up with dear Sea again, and also it would be awesome to go to Stockholm again; it's such a beautiful city and I'd love to see what it's like in May rather than autumn. So... we'll have to see. I'd been planning to go to Norway next year, but I think I can put that trip off (or just go later in the year than I had originally been considering, I suppose).
So. I'm crossing my fingers for Stockholm, but at this point, I have no idea.
Anyway! It was an interesting Eurovision this year. I'd expected the final to be boring, becaus there were a lot of slow songs, but it was a lot better than I'd expected.
