A few things
☆ Finished the draft of my fic for the Nordipalooza fest. Finally. I still have about a week to get it all finished, but I hope to post it in the next couple of days. It's best to get these things done early. Still need some proofreading done... I plan to print it out and go over it by hand; this one is too long to trust myself to editing it electronically. 5.5k so far, but I expect it'll end up closer to 6k-7k.
☆ Today was May 17th. Norway's Constitution Day. So, fandom-wise, that of course means there's lots of new fanart of Hetalia Norway. Here are some of my favourites of the new ones: ☆ ☆ ☆ And then of course there is this one, which is older but I still love it so much. Nor dressed in traditional clothing is always a wonderful thing. :D
☆ I was just reminded that a television adaptation of Jonathan Strange & Mister Norrell was in the works, and that it's running now. While I had some mixed feelings about the novel - it took me a long time to get into it, and I'm not sure if I'll re-read it - I'm kind of curious about the adaptation. It'll be interesting to see how it goes. I'm not jumping to watch it right away, but it might be something I'll look into later.
