☆There were some things that I needed to do today. I only did about half of them. But half is better than nothing, right?
☆I made some Redtail icons! They're over here. Trying to decide which to upload to my DW account, but it's hard, I like most of them a lot....
Those are all from just the cover images/extra drawings, but eventually I'll get around to doing ones from the comic itself. Including secondary characters, hopefully - Åsa of course, but also Paju and Joona and Jonna and Kokko and Kielo and the Swan of Tuonela and....
Though I did make one from a comic panel, the one I'm using now. Hannu's adorable laughing face, oh my god - though considering he's so amused because he played a mean joke on Ville I shouldn't find him so cute, probably, but whatever.
I was thinking about fic ideas today; SO MANY. I kind of want to do one where it's either pre-canon or post-canon and focused on Hannu's friendship with Jonna and Joona... the profiles say they're his best friends, so it'd be fun to explore that. Though, I felt he was closer with Paju, but she acts so much like she is his sister that maybe it's on a different level. But, anyway. Something with those two, and considering they all work in the bakery, it could be like a bakery AU without the AU part! :D ... I'm honestly wondering how on earth Hannu got that job, it doesn't seem like something he would have liked necessarily, maybe Mister Kuikka offered it to him because Hannu's friends with his kids, and Hannu just decided to take it for that reason? Mysteries.
And considering all the times that the canon alludes to Hannu doing ridiculous things, I kind of want to do something with that... "Five times Hannu did something stupid" so to speak. Like the time he drove Riikka's car into the lake (?!). Or the time Joona and Jonna tied him up and left him in the shed - what on earth happened to make them decide to do that, we just don't know.
Anyway. I'm working on a Hannu & Ville comfortfic right now. Not... really sure how I feel about it. The voice is off. I don't have the first clue how to write Hannu, but I know I'm doing it wrong. I'm going to have to sit on it for a while. And I can't decide if the nightmare I decided to go with was the best one to go with. The Moose of Hiisi or the Swan of Tuonela? Which would be better? ... Maybe I'll just write both and go with whatever comes out more the way I like it.
☆ I'm coming down with a cold, and this is terrible. Seriously the worst. There are few things as sucky as a summer cold, especially when I can't necessarily afford to miss work because we're so busy. ... Hopefully I'll just be able to sleep it off overnight?!
☆ Eurovision is coming up soon! I'm very excited. Haven't listened to most of the entries yet; can't decide if I want to do that or not. I usually don't. Have heard Italy's entry, though, and it's pretty good. Not sure if it's a winner, but it'll be awesome to see, at least.
