Two-card draw today. Usually, I just stick to one unless I need clarification, but it felt right to draw these two together.
Two of cups and six of wands.
Two of cups: Harmony, reciprocity, balance of ideas and plans.
Six of wands: Good news, victory, pleasure gained through labour, success, help from others.
Today, I tried a new schedule: come home. Supper. At eight, driving practice for half an hour. Working on something small (today it was parking). Then exercise. It was pretty effective, and I think I'll continue to do this on days when I don't have to wash my hair. (Only on those days because -- well, washing my hair takes forever, I'd rather not crunch time more than I have to.)
I feel good about this schedule. And I guess the cards reflect that. It seems pretty logical - practice in tiny bits, and it will build up to success. This can apply to a lot of things, too, not just this, but since this thing has been hanging over my head, it's good to at least think about it.
On an unrelated note, Cups is my favourite suit. It just feels so... cozy. Wands are more energetic than I usually feel. If I were to pick a card to represent myself, it'd probably be Knight of Cups - though sometimes I feel like the Knight of Wands. And sometimes I feel like the Knight of Pentacles, or perhaps some combination of that one and Cups. Very rarely am I the Knight of Swords. ... And sometimes I am the reverse of all of these.
But Cups makes me feel very good, yes.
