I don't really understand the reading I did today.
It was going to be a one-card reading, but then I needed to draw a second one to clarify things. I still don't really understand the reading, but at least it gives me something to think about.
First, it was The Tower, reversed. Then it was Four of Swords, also reversed.
My understanding is that The Tower in this context is meant to represent positive change gained at great cost. Four of Swords in this context suggests "renewed activity; qualified success".
There are a lot of things that these could mean for me, so I'll need to think about them. One thing that I'm going to consider is that all things are relative. What could be great effort and great cost for me might not be the same as they would be for someone else. Things that are difficult for me aren't necessarily difficult for other people. So, I should take that into consideration.
