Night Vale's population confuses me. It sounds like a tiny town (kind of makes me think of Drumheller, Alberta, because of the "small town in the middle of the desert" thing. Drumheller has about 8k people).
But the place has an uncommonly high fatality rate. So how the heck does the population manage to replace itself? Do people just randomly wander in occasionally, like in "A Story About You"?
It's a mystery. (And I know that I'm just overthinking it.)
Speaking of WTNV, I'm up to ep 33 now ("Cassette"). I really liked this one; it's probably one of my favourites, actually.
